- What is the EPG Survey Panel?
- The EPG Survey panel is a group of doctors who have elected to participate specifically in web based medical research activity conducted through EPG Survey. EPG Survey is a new service introduced by EPG Health media.
EPG Health Media own and operate a series of web based reference and educational services for medical professionals. Our web services are used and subscribed to by more than 400,000 health care professionals in Europe and around the world. More about EPG Health Media.
As the health care industry continues to seek greater input and comment from health care professionals on the development of new therapies, the efficacy of existing treatments, we - through our members - are able to provide a bridge between the industry and those who work within it.
Survey activities, applicable to both general medicine and all medical specialties, will be conducted in partnership with the health care industry. EPG Survey Panel members will be selectively chosen to regularly participate in relevant survey activities relating to clinical and scientific matters. Each opportunity to participate in a medical survey will enable the doctor to make their own contribution to health care provision today and tomorrow in addition to getting paid for sharing their expert clinical opinions. - Why become an EPG Survey Panel member?
- By joining the EPG Survey Panel, you have an opportunity to regularly participate in market research activity and make your own contribution to health care provision today and tomorrow. Our activities are typically web-based and range from brief 10 to 15 minute surveys through to 6 month trials. Whatever the length of the activity you will be given an accurate estimate of the amount of time required to complete the activity and the fee payable at the outset. No matter what the activity, you will be paid promptly for your time.
- I am already a member of EPG, how do I upgrade to Survey membership?
- Visit the join page and log in with your EPG username and password, simply follow the prompts for an immediate upgrade to Survey Panel membership
- Who qualifies to join, is it really free?
- All qualified health care professionals are eligible to join the EPG Survey Panel, there is no fee payable - membership is totally free.
- What personal information must I provide to join?
- We want to make sure we invite you to take part in the right activities and don't waste your time inviting you to participate in research which is not within your area of expertise or interest. To make sure we have sufficient information we will invite you to provide your name, occupation, specialty, email address and where applicable your medical license number, the name of the university from which you graduated and year of graduation. We will also need your telephone number. Not all of the questions are compulsory but the more information you give us, the more opportunity to participate in relevant panel activity.
- Will I get spammed, how do I know my personal information is safe?
- The EPG Survey Panel is owned and operated by IMR International Limited. IMR is registered under the data protection act in both the UK and Europe, view our privacy policy. Your personal information will not be shared with any 3rd party without your expressed permission, the only e-mail correspondence you will receive will come from us and will relate to EPG Online or EPG Survey Panel activities.
- How will I get paid?
- You will be paid via direct bank credit.
- How much time do I need to give up?
- A typical online survey will take 10 to 15 minutes to complete. However, survey lengths may vary.
- My colleague is interested, can they join to?
- If they are a registered health care professional, with a valid email address, then yes! Your colleagues are welcome to register on this web site at any time.
- What is "recommend a colleague"?
- Recommend a colleague is a program which rewards existing EPG Survey Panel members for recommending their friends or colleagues to join the panel. To do this log in and visit this page and provide the email addresses of your friends and colleagues (up to a maximum of 10), then we'll do the rest!
- Do I qualify for recommend a colleague?
- If you are an EPG Panel member, yes.
- Will I have to renew my Membership?
- Once you have joined the panel you are considered to be a member until you notify us otherwise, however we may contact you occasionally to confirm your interest in continuing as a member, for example after 3 invitations to participate in market research activity have gone unanswered by you, we will call you to make sure you are still interested in Panel membership.
- I've changed my job and my panel membership no longer reflects my area of professional interest, what do I do?
- As an EPG Panel Member you can log in using your username and password and update your personal information on the My Account page. This will help us ensure that future activities are tailored to your new position.
- I'd like to leave the panel, how do I unsubscribe?
- We are sorry you have decided to leave the EPG Survey panel but we also understand it's important you do not continue to receive e-mail invitations from us. To unsubscribe please click here (You will need to be loggged in details. If you don't have them follow the help prompts).
